The big ones just look so damn good!

Too bad they have to hurt the wallet so much!

I think the way to collect 12", 18" or 20" figure is to buy those that are close to perfect. At that scale, there shouldn't be any let down on the likeness. Right now I only have the Spidey one and I'd like to have Ash. Aragorn looks awesome too but I surely wouldn't buy Legolas. The pose and proportion are great BUT the likeness is way off. He looks like an Elf, but not Legolas

Yep, I'm in deeeeep trouble with space given the upcoming large scale figures! I have already found a way to cram all of the following large scale figures into the house:

18" Hellboy x2
12" Mandarin Spawn
18" Pinhead
18" Chatterer
12" tortured souls x 4
13" Spawn x2
12" Gene Simmons x3
12" Crow
24" KISS "Love Gun" figures x3 (never found Paul )

And that, of course, is in addition to all the other "regular" size bastids!

I still need 18" Edward Scissorhands, and we're all about ready to get slammed by the 12" alien & predator, 12" WOR, 12" jazz hands, and I also will be picking up the 12" Yao Ming. Thank god I don't feel compelled to get the Freddy/Jason/Leatherface, etc ones!

Where are they all gonna go?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I know how you feel, and that's what I've been thinking.

Just don't know if I'm gonna be able to hold out though.

I agree that the likeness on Legolas is pretty weak, which is why I'll only pick it up on clearance

Red face

I'm doomed. I avoided the large-scale figs for a long time, but have finally been hooked.

I bought the 18" Spider-Man a little while back, but thought that might be it.

But no, I just bought the 20" Aragorn, and I absolutely love it. He's just so...freaking huge.

My wallet and my room are doomed. Now I want.

20" Legolas (maybe)
12" Predator
12" Alien (maybe)
12" WOR
12" Flying Spawn (maybe)

And I'm sure plenty more will come.

I have done good not falling into the large figure trap.

The only one that I have is the 13" Violator as it is in scale with the Spawn 1 figure

I will also be picking up the Fell Beast and the Balroc when ever that comes out, but those are basically for the wife's col; ection

I know how you feel. They are expensive, and they are shelf hogs like no other, but damn are they cool. I have all of McFarlane's 18" Maniacs, Pinhead, Spider-Man, and now Aragorn. I will probably buy Legolas if he goes on sale/clearance. I'm a little pissed that the AvP 12"ers are are just up-sized versions of the 6"ers (not to mention that they're 12" instead of 18"), but I'll probably get those too.

I sort of wish they would take out the talking feature and knock down the price 5 or 10 bucks. I almost always have mine turned off anyways.

Do you know where the bedroll thing goes on Aragorn?

No idea. Just looks like a big turd to me. I'll probably just chuck it in the accessory drawer.
