Win XP help (not Pro)

I think I have XP actually, the disc I was given had PRO written on it for some reason.

Even of you get the Key, Windows will ask you for activation. If someone else had access to that CD, it will stop working.

Getting ahold of activation keys is a bitch. Especially since each one can only be used a certain number of times.

I thought that was only if you register or try to update it.

Im just trying to see the performance differences with some software and hardware i have between ME and XP.

Imm planning on upgrading legitimately in a few months.

If your key isn't a corporate key, you are going to have to activate the install after 30 days wether it is Pro or Home.
