Besides the extra Cantina setup pieces, I'm kinda suprised that they have these since there was already a Cantina figure pack with Obi-Wan and that Walrusman/baboonassface guy.



They should've opted for more aliens instead, but that's my opinion.

Well, you can take it even a little further than that -

The Ponada Boba character (in the set you show, and the above Cantina set #2) was released in the individual cantina packs from WalMart last year.

Te Dr. Evzian character (the one on the left you show in your pic) has been released in the first K-Mart Contina set, and then now the release of Ben in the second K-Mart set.


Boils down to rehashing the Hasbro way! [img]wink.gif[/img]

orgot to mention that the thrid Cantina Set that is planned through K-Mart is supposed to have atleast 2 new aliens that have not previosuly been releasd in any form

Ya this is true, the rehashing and the never ending versions. I mean on the shelves right now you can find 3 different (Alec Guiness) Obi Wans, two different Hans in the same outfit, etc.

That's including the new clamshell series out there, which are pretty nice at least.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have 2 K-Marts around me, so I'll keep an eye open for you TCM, however I've never had much of any luck at either of those K Marts so don't hold your breath

mac - you are right! I did miss that they were released like that!

TCM - I've got 3 K-marts between me and home, and they all have the Cantina sets just sitting there, I am sure I will be able to find the future ones if someone else doesn't come through for you
