Mark Burnett has NEVER been that obvious in the previews as to who was going to get the boot, damn him. Damn him straight to hell!

And yeah, Billy did turn out to be a weirdo in.....well, in a weird shirt.

I have to go back and re-watch the first 2 episodes and make my ultimate winner prediction. I better watch those episodes close, becuase my record thus far this season is down right pitiful.

Did you all know that there is ALWAYS something done in the first episode that tells you who is going to ultimately win the show. It's normally something very subtle, but if you watch close you can pick it up. Last season, for example, before the first immunity challenge Probst was talking about the game and mentioned the final winner. Right at that moment they showed Courtney wink and smile at Aras, who winked back. He then went on to describe the challenge and finished with something about the ultimate survivor and they again showed Aras. There you go, Aras is, and was the winner!

so the game is rigged?

The game's not rigged, it's filmed in it's entirity then edited once everything's finished to add drama and television appeal.

So sometimes a confessional you see in one episode was actually filmed a totally different day, but they use it somewhere else to add to the situation. The challenges and tribal council are the only part of the show that are on a fixed schedule, but much of the day to day dorking around at camp scenes and confessionals that we see are flipped around and moved to appear to be different times.

And ultimately, the people editing the show know the outcome of each Tribcal Council and the entire game, so they put little hints here and there to tell you what's going to happen.

In last night's episode for example all of the tribes were lined up for the immunity challenge and Probst was explaining the rules. He said "the winning tribe get's the tarps" and they flashed the Puka tribe, then he said "the losing tribe will meet me at Tribal Council, where someone (flashed shot of Billy) will be sent home"

The hints are always very subtle, but the more you pay attention to them the more you know the outcome of things before they happen.

That guy's reaction to finding the immunity idol was so bland. If I found the immunity idol this early in the game I would do one of two things:

1. Use some of that prop crap on exile island to create a fake immunity idol.

2. or at the very least, take a dump in the box and bury it exactly where I found it.

A dump in the box would have been great, with the note changed to say

"You just found my turd. Smooches [img]graemlins/kiss.gif[/img] , Yul"

But aside of the fact that the descovery of the idol was boring, the clues to fing the idol were simple compared to last season.

I think they saw how much Terry used the threat of the Hidden Immunity idol as a power play move and are hoping that Yul dos that same thing this season.
