oooh... i'm partial to the same one you said you were partial to... LOL... the frozen tree... surrounded by snowy ground and winter sky.... it's stark, but beautiful... still... quiet... that's the kind of thing i had in mind... [img]smile.gif[/img] if used, do you think we should put some sort of writing, saying, verse on it? Small of course, so as not to take the focus away from the picture, but just... something... *L*... i don't, usually, but for some reason i think it would work with that pic... though i have no clue what sort of thing exactly... just something eluding to winter, the season, the stillness, peacefulness... somethin like that... you know, the whole wintertime is when the world goes to sleep kinda thing... lol. (sleep deprivation is so not good for your ability to express yourself, hahahaha)

i like the one with the footsteps in the snow, too... but i think it would be harder to put against a background... because of the background in the pic... the white one could use almost limitless backgrounds, because they could be white, or any other color, anything relating to snow or winter, etc etc.... and the border can be cut off and the color changed, or no border, etc... it's pretty versatile.. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

tell ya what, i will start kinda scouting around for potential backgrounds to go with this one, and you keep lookin for anything else that catches your fancy.. (when you're feeling like it, of course... *smooooch*) I'm trying to think of more nature/outdoor options that you could try a search on to get the same kinda feel or same kinda winter-themed pics.... ooooooooooh, what do you think about things that involve water? errr, well, frozen water, lmao, so i guess technically that would be called ice... *G*.... like a frozen lake, with some of those pretty frozen trees like that one, and the gorgeous glittery ice? orrrrrrr, we could go in the opposite direction of peaceful, and do a snowstorm type kinda thing.... the options are pretty much limitless really.... just steal anything you think is cool n show it to me... *chuckles*... and if you are really digging the one that we both already like, we can do that one... i have no problem with that at all, i really like it, and i think that with some digging on my part now, lol, we could find just the right background to go with.... of course we still have a fairly good amount of time left to play around with different things.... so if you feel up to looking, run wild! *G*... heck, you may find something totally different from ANYTHING that we've mentioned up until now that we both look at and go OOOOOOOOOO!!!! THAT one!!! lol.... never know what you're gonna run into, that's for sure... often i start out with one particular thing, and end up changing every single thing about it until it's nothing like what i originally pictured, but yet i still adore it... *L*. *points to the design up now*... this one was kinda like that... i actually took it with the intent of making it my winter av for HB.... and turned it into a theme for an entire design instead... *L*... it's unusual, not even the pic itself really, but the colors.... the green and the blue... you know i have been thinking in icy blues, purples, and pinks as of late, lol... i didn't know if i could work the green in somewhere so that it all came together, but i think it did, in an odd sorta way.... *L*.... i have NO doubt that we'll come up with something unique and lovely.... i have faith in us...*w*

anyway, i will check back here for your ideas on the subject and your opinion on whether you wanna look around for more ideas, or if you are settled on something you've already posted, etc...i can't do a lot of replying at work, but i did make it here to look around a little.... *laughing*... ya know what, i didn't even realize that the pic you put on the other thread was for ME... and not a potential board pic... *L*.... i was like **** , ya know, i didn't really think of going in that direction, but you could do a winter background with that pic... and have a lovely snowy-type winter board kinda theme....*L*... if you study almost anything long enough, you find at least 10 different potential things you could do with it.... my mind is already flipping through the backgrounds i have in my head, thinking hmmm, what would go well with that tree? lol... i will find a dozen things that might be ok, and likely one that will be perfect... lol. And if you find more pics, i'll try a dozen more... [img]wink.gif[/img] till we have something we are both proud of and excited to show off.... *G*

[img]smile.gif[/img] i'm gonna try to get all my codes copied and stuff now, and everything involved in this board put away in a folder, for keeping until i'm ready to transfer it to my board... so we'll have a fresh playground to experiment on... *G*
