does seem that the Yankees are the only ones whose "big money" usually pays off....as for Sapp helping anyone....if a fatass whose lost at least 2 steps and can't do anything but talk shit is good for your team then you've found your man.
So when does the second TPB of Hush come out?

Well, we all know I'm an Astros fan. Over the offseason, they signed Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte, two pitchers who were supposed to help lead them to the playoffs this year. Before the season even fucking got off the ground, Pettitte hurt himself and went on the DL. The rest of the Astros' pitching staff has stunk it up all year, with the exception of Clemens, who's gone 12-4. Now, Clemens is on the DL after tonight's game, Pettitte is having season-ending elbow surgery next week, and the team is pretty much fucked.
They signed Carlos Beltran mid-season to give them a boost, and he hasn't done shit except ask for more money. They traded Richard Hidalgo to the Mets, where he's having a great year. Jeff Kent is reportedly in talks to go to Oakland, while Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell are iffy for next year.
I guess, unless you're the Yankees, spending a shitload of money never pays off.
GAH!
it's baseball
who cares
now football..that's a sport
I care, dammit! I used to play until I fucked up my arm. Can't even throw a rock without it killing me now.
I love football too, but my Raiders have almost killed me.
Well atleast we got Sapp now...

Their biggest star has a last name that's pronounced "Pooholes". NO THANK YOU SIR.
brooks: I, too, am a Cubbies fan. Lived up in Chitown for about 5 years. I'll always love 'em, but Nolan played for the 'stros, so I've got a soft spot.
