HOLY POOP! SoaP is basically the biggest internet craze since the previous big internet craze! Look it up on Wikipedia and then watch it before it gets ruined by the populace!

Yeah well I don't live every moment on the internet so pardon me if I don't follow every fad that comes along.

I don't buy into all the plant maketing bullshlt.

That's what makes this instance unique: it was marketed almost exclusively by the fans up until a few weeks before its release. Rather than cut scenes to lower the rating, they went back and shot more footage to bump it to R because the fans demanded it. It does have a lot to do with pseudo-living online, however, but the point is that a bunch of people with computers had every bit as much envolvement with this film's success as the people who wrote it, acted in it, or produced it. It had a cult following before it was even made.

Not that there's anything wrong with living under a rock, though.

Well from what I hear the cult following wasn't quite enough and the movie didn't do all that well.
