I think that to many people (with the addition of the OT Board) don't want to come. They probably just don't care, or they may be afraid to leave there comfort zone.

God I havn't played a clix game in months and I still show up. And this isn't from lack of trying either!

I check in three times a day. Would it make me more or less of a loser if I posted every time, too? I've been debating it myself...

Would a daily post or three encourage more traffic, or would people just see lonesome ol' me in here by myself, muttering to the shadows? Curse the WK OT board!

Is the new forum pic too off-putting? Does the place really need "content" to thrive? Or can we just get by with random nonsense that keeps a broad range of ontopicness to suit a multitude of interests? I've seen it work before...I've also seen forums turn into ghost towns... Right now, this place is pretty boring. I could spend half an hour or so everyday putting up news, webfunnies, or my own useless commentary about whatnots and wherefores, but would it really promote activity from others?

Obviously, the miniscule amount of shameless plugging I do hasn't done the trick. I am patient, and fairly confident that in time traffic will pick up here, but I don't want to push it too much and end up driving people away. That, and there are certain demographics that I don't want to attract - hence the reason I've not advertised much on Realms. Don't get me wrong - everyone is welcome here, but there are those who I wouldn't go out of my way to invite...and that makes me sound like even more of an asshole.

But then, this is my forum...our forum...

I'll see what happens if I get motivated enough.
