That's quite a feat.
I can shake a stick at a heck of a lot of forums.

I pulled my last girlfriend out of an internet chatroom. She came to visit a couple of times, and we had a lot of fun...a LOT of fun. She moved from California to Georgia, and we lived together for about 18 months before we broke up.
Sure, she was a little psychotic, but it was worth it. She was seriously hot--way out of my league.

I can't say on the negative.
My best friend of the last 7 or 8 years was a girl I met in a random anime chatroom one fateful evening. We've exchanged pictures, addresses, names...nearly everything since then. She lives in North Carolina, while I'm here in Ohio (the armpit of the midwest), so, sadly, I've never actually got to meet her. Her and I know more about each other than probably anyone and she's probably closer to me than anyone I know.
So, you know, you get your good with your bad.

Yeah, it might be cool having a great friend and all.....but it does nothing about my love life, or lack thereof.
It's a horrible trend that keeps continuing in my life. No matter how infinitesimally close I finally get to that one thing I want the most, I can either never grab it or it slips away. It happened once in high school (that dark abyss of memories forever sealed away in my mind), it happened when I met my internet friend and I worry it's going to happen again shortly when I have to change jobs.
I feel like I'm just going to be miserable the rest of my life. Now I know how colin feels, but at least he has his alcohol.
