Top 20 Heroes

I watched the top 20 heroes on Bravo last night (Comcast taped it) and I wasn't really surprised at the top 3.

3) Batman
2) Superman
1) Spider-Man

But why the fuck is spawn on the damn list but not Captain America? Oh and The Tick came in at about 17, can't remember for sure.

Finished the top 20 villains.

3) The Terminator
2) The Joker
1) Darth Vader

See, The Tick being on that list is probably why Captain America isn't. The Tick is a joke. On the grand scale of superherodom, he's but a speck in Superman's underwear. There's absolutely no reason for him to be in the top 50, let alone the top 20. Sure, he's funny and amusing, but he's NOT a great superhero.

And since we're looking at Top 20 of all time in all universes, I could conceive Captain America missing the top 20, but not by much.

Also they used a lot of non-SUPER hereos. They had James Bond, Austin Powers and to round it off Adam West was the speaker. ^.^

I hate those lists. I'm still writing angry letters about VH1's top 100 ROCK & ROLL artists, which included non-rockers like Miles Davis and Bob Marley pretty high up on the list. The ones on AMC usually aren't too bad.

Don't get me started on TV Guide's "20 Scariest Movies."

One thing that Imbalance and I could agree with was that Sigourney Weaver as Ripely placed 6 in the top 20 super vixens. I can't remeber #3 but 2 was the Bond Girls and 1 was Catwoman.
