Agh! I'm really in the mood to read a good NC fic that I haven't already read, but I can't find any. Don't you hate it when that happens? I guess I'll have to read my ol' trusty standby fics again. : )
Geez, I wish my LiveJournal would let me update. I wanna write in it for once!

As soon as I actually buckle down and finish my fic I can help you out there, but until then all I can say is, my sympathy.

Ooh! Thanks, Fasheem! I haven't read those yet, but I'm about to! : ) I've read pretty much every Kurt story that I've found while scouring the 'net for fics and sites to read and see. I'm always looking for remote access sites with original Kurt stories not found elsewhere, and let me tell you, it's near impossible to find them!
Again, thanks!

*giggle*
Well, unfortunately, Sheemie, I did.
My first reaction was to laugh my ass off, which I did. Then I got mildly disgusted, and then I went in search of some Kleenex for my own twitching nose. I never knew there were so many adjectives to describe a sneeze! Mein Gott!
If you want to be really, really grossed out read this:
Day's End also by Liberty Belle
It's another Nighty fic, with Jean. That writer seems to like Kurt a lot, and his nose a lot. And his snot a whole lot.
Okay, I've seen a lot of odd fetishes, but this was a new one on me. Whatever floats one's boat is cool, so I'm not picking, but this sure isn't my bag. I think it is funny though. A lot of it seems to be a modified Florence Nightengale syndrome, with a female character caring for a sick male character. But with lots of sneezing. I never knew there were so many types. Whatever. I think these get the award for wierdest Nighty fanfic. Hmmm...maybe that should be an official award.
I think Kurt says it best himself in this quote from the story whose link I posted:
<BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><HR>
"Uh?ktsh! Ach... "? His head came up again, expression quickly changing, and this time as he turned away it was with a different sneeze altogether, the wet force of it causing a small flurry of bubbles to fly away from the sudsy surface of the water. "Heh-Isshh!"
"Okay," Jean sighed, hiding her face in her hands, "That was your cold."
"I did not realize there vas a noticeable difference," he mused, sinking deeper into the water, rubbing one finger under his nose, wet fur against wet fur. His body wrenched in place with another sneeze, causing a soft, splashy sound as he disturbed the water.
<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
Excuse me, I think I need to go get another Kleenex. And laugh some more...

while i the one with Jean was definatley too much for my tastes, i actually really liked the story Cold Comforts (the one with Kitty, and no it's not a Kurtty fic) at that sneezefetish (i had never encountered this particualr fetish before either, but as said earlier, whatever floats yer boat, i guess...) anyway, sneezing aside which as mentioned was rather over the top, it was a nice story, and i even wrote the author about possibly using it as a vehicle to create some portfolio pages down the line, she was cool with the idea. i think i will tone down the vivid descriptions of the sneezing *just a touch* tho
but i am a sucker for stories about what the x-men do when they are not busy being heroes saving the world.
