anyone know if "God Loves, Man Kills" was somewhere in that list? It's my personal all time favourite...But I don't think it's likely to be #1 or #2. (not because of the quality of the work, but more because it's not well known enough)

This particular poll was limited to regular comic issues...otherwise "God Loves, Man Kills" and "The Death of Captain Marvel" would both probably have made the list.
They reprinted "God Loves" a few years ago in the Prestige Format, but if you can find the original large size graphic novel (11 x 11 square...possibly larger...), I highly recommend picking that up instead. An amazing tale. I think it has possibly the best portrayal of Magneto ever.

In case you don't own a copy of Giant Size X-Men #1 or one of its many reprints, this week's 100 Greatest Marvels of All Time #3 reprints Giant Size X-Men #1! #4 reprints Uncanny #137 (Death of Phoenix).
So there's 2 more doses of 'Crawler this week...including his first appearance!
