I don't know, villians called the "Church of Humanity", running around screaming you'll be "excommunicated" is far to silly even for a comic book. Casey's Uncanny is possibly the worst run in the X-Men's history. I personally love Extreme and would love to see Kurt over there. Remember Claremont in concert with Alan Davis helped Kurt grow into a leadership role. I remember an old interview with Claremont stating that Nightcrawler blossomed in Excalibur because he was out of the shadow of Wolverine, Storm and Cyclops and in this new context Kurt became a confident leader and grew as a person. I think the only problem with putting Kurt in Extreme is because of Storm's presence. Nightcrawler functions best as a team leader now and I think that's why Claremont had a hard time writing Kurt on his last run. Perhaps that's why he gave Kurt this whole "priest" thing, it gave his character a new perspective. I only wish Uncanny had a new writer. Until then you guys will have to keep me updated on Kurt in Uncanny since I won't be reading it

I dunno. Oh, and it was supposed to be Mayor Guiliani, not Clinton. I'd say that was a mistake. I wouldn't go after Sir Rudy right now, if I was Casey!

i don't think it was a mistake, i think it was written before Sept 11 then Guiliani became like a hero in new york so the editors changed it. he is afterall writing a intro or some such for something to do with the Heroes thing, so they prolly dinna want to step on his name...
but, the Stacy/Kurt/Locgan scene was the part i had a problem with, while he remembered the friendship, he made Logan (in a small way, granted) lie to his best friend. bad form. i do however like Stacy the best of any of the new characters.
but if you don't like it NightcrawlerPA, that's up to you, jsut stating my opinion. personally, i don't like X-Treme right now, so if anything ground breaking happens over there you'l have to keep me informed, cause i don't read it, i only read New and Uncanny.
hey anyone out there wanna scan in a nice pic of The Beak and Angel/The Fly fer me? i got an idea for a pic, "The Flying Lesson" where Archangel is having tough time teching these two how to use those wings of thiers... (basically him just standing there, or maybe flying in place, shaking his head and thinking to himself 'it's hopeless...' as those two take a nose dive into the ground.. yeah i know Beak is in bad shape right now and Angel is not even at the Institute yet, but.... it'll be cute) but all my comics are back in Ontario right now. got a fairly solid image of Angel and Warren in my head, but i think i could use some help with the Beak, his arms in particular.
