Ah, so it does come off, but only once.

That's kind of silly. I mean, it's not much of a disguise if he's got a blue-devil tail sticking out of his pants.

Oh, and i know it's not fair but the reason there aren't many female figures out is that historically female action figures don't sell as well. Ironically though, because the manufactures keep this in mind, when they make a female figure they make fewer of them and they become much sought after collectables.
(The big exception being the Lady Deathstrike figure)

I'm all for some Kitty, Jean, Rogue and Mystique figures.
