The board is different! Time for me to voice my op

Allright! I got it more or less fixed. The quote box...it's screwy. I can't change the background color of it. We might have to put up with blue text...we'll see how it looks. Anyway, there's nothing I can do about the ugly-assed graemlins, but I turned off the swear filter. Damn fuck shit! We can swear if we want!

Anyway, pending approval from Nocturne, I think we should just use her smilies. It's a bit more of a pain in the butt than using the graemlins, but it's worth it! I have a text file on my desktop that I have the code for her smilies in so that I just cut and paste, no problem.

Also, a few of the extra features I've found:
A spellchecker on the posting page.
I was able to change the "Reply" and "New Topic" graphics.
I can add and remove additional Mods at will.
I can now move, top, lock, delete, etc. posts.
I can ban users from the board!
I can post an announcement across the top of the board!
I added a custom footer that has my email addy in it.
I made it so that ya'll can delete your own posts.
You can rate the rest of us as members...and let me remind you I can ban you.
You can also send and recieve private messages on the board.

I think there's more, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

I would use the NC smilies but that sounds like a lot of trouble. Well not a lot of trouble but more than I'm willing to do cuz I'm lazy.

Well, the scary Graemlins or however they spelled that, worry me. I like the colors, but I tend to really like black and purple. All in all I think it's pretty cool, but I think I'll really form an opinion after we've all been here awhile. So, did everyone make it here okay?

hey if anyone wants to use my smilies, go ahead once they've been download once they are cached, so it's not so bad, and besides they are tiny files. i barely use a quarter of my alloted bandwidth as is, (my hompeage need hits, people!) so go right ahead. go herefor the directory listing, BC's Elf Heads are there too...

I can change my screen-name? ok vote time people! on other boards i have found it difficult to register the name Nocturne as it is quite often taken already, and i have a thing agaisnt using numbers and such in my names. so i have turned to using Bamfette instead. kinda goofy but oh well shall i change it here?

whatever....The page is THE BEST , because WE are here , and WE have the EXCELLENT taste to be NC fans!
So , in essence , as long as the speed thing gets better , and it doesnt always take a year or so to load , im pretty down with it.

I mostly like the new board, and it does have lots of nifty features the old one never had. Ya know there's a poll feature somewhere too? I saw it somewhere on my board.

It almost looks like home again too, thanks to KC, uh, UC, whatever. And there's that beautiful Nocturne Nighty in the corner. I love it, love it! I liked the Nightcrawler 1 cover, but this is better!
