My dad and I racing to the house, my dad tripping and breaking his nose on the steps. I don't know how old I was.

What do you want for Christmas (or whatever related holiday)? Never too early to start discussing it.

A dvd burner.
Do you like chatty coworkers, or find them annoying?

If they have something interesting to say, and know to be quiet when I'm near an adding machine, then I like them just fine. Otherwise, death.
What do you do when a coworker turns monosyllabic?

Buy them a dictionary or teach them to speak German. You could also threaten to cut off their caffeine flow until they learn to use full sentences.
If you are convinced you are doing the right thing and most of the people around you are convinced, and very vocal too, that you are doing the wrong thing, do you stop and consider doing it their way, or do you push ahead anyway? (just curious)

If they could speak to me calmly, I would sit there and listen to their point of view and then mentally go over both sides carefully so that in the end, I could be confident in my decision regardless of what I chose.
If they were just getting all over me, I would probably just do what I wanted to then just to spite them.

I'm gonna pass this on, cuz it's a good question.
