Yeah, what ever happened to not working on Sunday?? I remember those days of nothing being open and you had to *gasp* SPEND TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY!!

Actually, this sounds like it'll make a good rant.

Spend time with my family? What a horrid thought! Of course, with most of my family in DC, except my brother, who's in Japan, that's not a problem.

Weird news department... my mom has informed me that she and my dad are retiring... and moving... to Belize. For no apparent reason. It's all good, though... this is the happiest I've heard my mother in absolutely years. So Dan and I will actually be going down to DC to meet my parents before they take off for parts unknown. This'll be the first time they've met. I'm just SO looking forward to it... [img]wink.gif[/img]

And honestly, I actually wouldn't have minded working my birthday, except that a) there was a full moon, and b) we had the national guard in. These are not a good combination! At least we didn't have any watermains break.

Just a frozen pipe that maintenance is fixing as I type this...

Thanks for the mention, eris. I knew I was doing something right. It's a shame that SiP upped and left, since that's damaged us more than anything. Actually, I haven't read SiP since the false ending. Has it got better?

And let's not forget that on a hard drive presently sitting on a shelf near my elbow is the first thread that eris ever posted. One day I shall post it again, and we can all go "awww, bless" at her tiny post count.

You know, the hardest part of the list was figuring out in my head who's still around. It's actually kind of cool that I missed some names, that means I was wrong about who's not around anymore.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Oh, and Ers, I don't know if my opinion counts as far as SiP getting better since the false ending, because I rather liked the false ending story line, but SiP has, imo, been very very good lately.
