Heh. No cookies yet. I did find a back of cooked rice I somehow managed to leave in a cupboard for several weeks though. Don't worry. That will not be sent to anybody.

REcent research has shown that it is insanely expensive to have cookies delievered to someone's door if they happen to live in the U.S.

One place in Baltimore charges $65 to deliver a dozen cookies with balloons locally. And you can't not get the balloons.

I'm sure her brother wouldn't mind putting off getting his PhD for a year so you can get the money to go to Texas...

Dammit. He just called. I should have asked. I think his response would have been amusing.

I should be wrapping up my academic endeavors by the end of May. Unless I've landed a job by then, there're friends in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area that I'd like to go visit.
