Plans for Birds of Prey

Hello Terry,

I just wanted to ask if you have any specific plans yet for the Birds of Prey series. While Chuck Dixon's run has been wonderful, I feel the quality has slipped somewhat, especially in regard to the character of Black Canary.

I've been reading some issues of SIP and I'm most impressed at your ability to convey complex human emotions. I'm hoping this will translate well to the relationship between Barbara Gordon and Dinah Lance.

Isn't it obvious? Barbara and Dinah move to Houston and set up house/HQ over a garage, Dick Grayson follows them and hangs around moping and confused as Barbara alternately kisses him and runs him over with her wheelchair. Oliver Queen (he even has the beard) ruins his current relationship due to paintings of Dinah, in her fishnet costume, over the couch. Selena Kyle kidnaps Dinah to get to Barbara and reveals herself to be Dick's sister. and so forth and so forth . . .

I'm not up on current bat-lore so those who follow such can fill in the rest of the characters.

Hey, that sounds more interesting that what's going on in the book right now. From what I've read, the next few issues are more endless and probably pointless Bat crossovers.

Now, I love Bats. He's my favorite comic character. But he's got four books of his own. This one is supposed to co-star Dinah, not make her one of his lesser apprentices.

Uh, sorry. Small rant there. If Terry promises to draw Dick Grayson nekkid, I'll read.
