Ok, ok...I see where I made my mistake. I was watching "Gypsy," with Natalie Wood and the little sisters stage name was Baby June, SO, I was wondering if Terry's inspiration for the nickname was from the movie. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Ok, I am sorry for snapping. It was uncalled for. I am now suffeciently chilled. (I still really want an answer to my question tho) I compleatly understand why EMMA called her Baby June, but what I was wondering is what was TERRY'S inspration for the name, which I now realize, I may never know. It's all good.
Sorry Branflakes...too much caffine, plus mall anxiety had me all wiggy.

Whoa! Chill out, chilluns. The wink means that the post was meant tongue-in-cheek, good-naturedly, no insult intended.
Two persons who might have given Katchoo that nickname are Darcy and Emma. The "Baby" part, of course, refers to her youth at the time; Brooke Shields once played a character called Baby. I have wondered whether Emma chose "June" because it rhymed with "tune" in the song she wrote for Katchoo. But that's purely a guess.
I really don't see much similarity to either the Natalie Wood or Joan Crawford movies.

Lyric, I don't know the answer, but my guess is that it is just something that struck Terry's fancy. He might not even know the origin of it. But I doubt he will tell us if there was something specific to it. Sort of the mystery of it all type thing. But ya never know!
