The woman with the guns is Black Widow, a soviet super spy who fights international crime and blah blah blah.
From what I understand, Brian Michael Bendis contacts an artist, ask them which Marvel Comics super hero he/she would like to draw teaming up with Spider Man, and it goes from there.
Terry apparently chose Black Widow.
It should be fun, even if it is geared towards a mostly younger and almost exclusively male audience.
