What do you listen to?

I am a big music fan. I was a dj through college and worked at a music store. I always have something playing when I do bookwork, read comics, clean, take a nap, etc.

I own about 200 cds and I get a lot of stuff off the internet to burn mixed cds and test a cd before I buy it.

I am curious as to what other people on this (and a few other boards) listen to on a regular basis.

So I pose two questions:

(1) What are the 5 most recent cds you purchased? (New release, used, gift received, etc.)

(2) What is in your cd player right now?

Hey, I don't find anything wrong with having discussions like this here. Here's what I have.

The last 5 cd's I bought are the "I am Sam," soundtrack, Lit, Stained-Dysfunction, The best of the Doobie Brothers, Live, and Everclear--songs from an american movie. All very cool. Lit is in my player right now.

It's not personal; the problem with having topics like this is that it has been stated before that this forum is for topics pertaining to Strangers in Paradise only. If you happen to be a fan of SIP, and want to talk about something else, that is what the Stranger than Paradise board is for, which is why Thras and Oz suggested it. Topics that aren't to do with SIP here are closed down eventually anyway, so there's not much point in posting them here.

Of course, if you ask Terry specifically what HE's listening to, that can go here, I'm sure.

Saying "take it to STP" isn't a blow-off; it's a very cool place for general topics and fun. On Hostboard, it's, as stated above, in the comics section next to SIP; off of the SIP website it's in the links section. Seems wierd when an off-topic shows up here, but doesn't reappear on STP when the poster is invited to go there.
