Terry, I think this is my favorite PTOO issue so far (favorite cover is still either the polar bear on #3 or the fairy from #2 though). It worked really well having one main story, some back-up Kixie strips, and the miscellaneous stuff at the end. Are you planning on keeping this format?
If so, I think it'd be great if once and a while you let another character have the spotlight for the opening sequence (though the majority of PTOOs should probably star Kixie since you've doing really well with her). Always keep the Kixie strips in the middle though. We'll see what everyone else suggests after this...
BTW, that last panel of the first story, where the "Loud Lady" is spazzing around in her straight jacket? One of the nuttiest things you've ever drawn...just, the pose, the bugged-out eyes, the way her mouth is, the hair, the wiggle lines...LOL. I think it'd be great if Kixie never stays with any particular human companion for too long.
Oh man, a recipe? Of course I'd be reading the letters page just after dinner when I'm really craving something sweet for dessert, meanwhile there's nothing very satisfying in the house...Nooo, I was out all day, too lazy to go buy strawberries, gelatin, and whipping cream...
Thanks for the fun read, now on to Delicate Creatures and the KIN trade...

Loved it, tho the ending to the main Kixie story did feel sort of abrupt, I enjoyed the comic completely. It felt surreal to see that some of the strips were dated from the week before, too.
Go Kixie!!
