Big question: whose silhouettes are those on the back cover? Kat & Dave?!?!
Inside: Beeps? No Pepys. Saving Grace? Cathy took her place. Wonderville? Not a thrill. Wonderland? Undermanned.
But... KIXIE! KIXIE! Go, go, Kixie! I love the close-ups. I love the strip with the ice skates. Let's start a Kixie fan club. Hey, Terry! Don't give up on Kixie!

Kat and Dave?
D-boys hair gets long, but goodness, he's never been that curve-delicious! I thought it might've been Emma, but her hair was too long for Emma's, so it must be Francie bak when she was thin. baddabim.
Paradise Too! Two. Interesting. Very funny. enjoyed. tho I must confess, Terry, that I felt gipped, cuz I had already read most of those strips from the website. Are you planning on doing all the Paradise Too! editions in the same format? I mean, just penciled in, not really 'clean copies' or whatever it is that it's called? I liked the whole pencil thing, it made me feel like I was just browsing a friends comic strip doodles.

Which, in a way, you were. I noticed the familiarity, too, but I don't mind since it's good to see those strips in book format, easier to browse through than online. Am looking forward to never-been-seen stuff next time, though.

finished inks rather than pencils would have been nice (and better justify the price), but the consolation is that the rough sketches do give you a sense of what the pages of SIP looks like in first draft.

The book would cost the same either way...
Rough pencils can sometimes be a style of their own, and is sometimes appropriate, like now, cause Paradise Too! was just a glimpse behind Terry's drawing board(tho now a bi-monthly one!)

It puts it in similar territory with Herobear & The Kid, though that has finished inking AND pencils showing. Terry's work is that much more behind-the-scenes.

You know, I really expected not to like Paradise Too #2. I'm not really fond of the concept and the whole book seemed nothing more than an afterthought.
Nonetheless, I bought the issue, read it and liked it. A lot. Especially the Kixie strips... more, more, more!

Well, I just got it. It was fun, but that last page of Polar Bear comics was a total dud.
But, it was only 1 page out of the whole thing, so I enjoyed it.
