Has no one considered the fact that KATCHOO could be pregnant?

My two cents worth is that Ashley isn't Francine's and Brad's; she's Katchoo's and David's. For more ideas, check out what's being said on the SIP Yahoo Club. We think Ashley was the blonde, unidentified chick on a back issue. Remember the "new character"? She isn't new; she just grew up.

I hadn't considered it.
If Ashley is 5 years old, and Kat and Francie haven't spoken in 10 years, that would be a hell of a coincidence that Francie and Brad would adopt her(much less that kat would put her up for adoption) by chance.
Unless your theory is that Kat left Ashley in a basket on Francie's doorstep with a note saying 'Please Take Care of My baby!"
I think if F knew she had K's child, she would have reacted with fear at K's sudden appearance-'Are you here to take away my baby?"

Besides, she doesn't look a thing like David or Kat....she looks like Francie.

BTW-which blonde on which back cover? I only remember Kat being on the back cover. The only unidentified person on a cover was 'Kim' on the front of one issue,(the Asian girl sitting amidst all the paint) terry said she was a character he had planned to introduce as a secondary interest for David, but the story didn't work, so he scrapped it, but had already done the cover art for the issue, and didn't have time to re-do it AND finish the issue.

YEah it could well be from that night that Katchoo and David had hot monkey sex in issue 37 I believe.
That would make sense, seeing as Francie wants kids but turns away those close to her.
If David is gone, then Francie and Kat raise her
As for Koo, maybe that is Francie's kid with Brad, or maybe Kat decides men aren't "sheep" after all and someone else pokes her.

yeah I say so too, Her name is Ashley Katina Silver, so sure Francine middle-named her after Katchoo... this is not so much of a soap-opera as to have switched babies. And I don't think Katchoo would let anybody get her pregnant. Sure I doubt that they had protection at that random moment, but there was also a time lag- when they were in the beach house in Hawaii it was several months after that, she hadn't been with him since and was bopping around in swimsuits and shorts with no signs of a belly.
I think Koo is just a Sante Fe local who is childhood friends/possibly girlfriend(didn't it look like they were kissing to anybody else?) to Ashley. She called Katchoo and Francine Ashleys moms... she could possibly be Katchoo's protogee, they have a stong affinity, but I don't think they look so alike... Koo is a redhead for one thing.

Yes, I think Ashley and Koo are supposed to be lovers. They're like Francine and Katchoo, The Next Generation. And the identification is so strong that Koo says to Ashley, "Follow your heart, Francine."
