I've never posted because of a lack of new things to point out, but as I was watching Felicity (my wife's fav. show) I noticed some original SIP art or cover art on a wall behind one of the main characters on the show. I know I wasn't seeing things as my wife screamed out "Look Hon, Strangers!!" Very Cool I thought; Hope it brings more readers to this great book!

I was also watching Felicity last night (I'm not ashamed to say I actually watch that show - it's right after Katie Holmes and Dawson's Creek!) and saw that too. I could make out the cover of Volume 2 Issue 13 in the frame, but couldn't really make out the details of the page of original art underneath it. Does Terry know about this? And if so, doesn't he have some royalties due or something?

to quote the legal babble of I Dream of You:
". ..The title, Strangers In Paradise, and the likeness of it's characters are trademarks of Terry Moore and _their unauthorized use is prohibited by law._ we mean it, dammit!"
i'm a guessing the felicity peeps had terry's approval and received a nice bit of exposure.

If Terry were to make a stink, the Hollywood vultures(ie-entertainment lawyers) would likely counter by asking Terry to pay a product placement fee for the exposure SiP got. Reeses Pieces had to pay millions for the thing in ET...so I imagine Terry would just be flattered and let it go...
It's incidental, and if they didn't actually refer to SiP, there's nothing Terry could really do except to have it pulled out of the set in the future. Which would be kinda petty and silly, which is definitly not Mssr. Moore's style.

Just wondering who?s going to end up with it. It would be a shame to have original SiP art just hanging on a tv set.

What's the title of the show that used them?

I missed that but I'm flattered. Hey, more power to them. The more people see SIP the better, as far as i'm concerned.
Somebody on the show probably owns the art you saw, likely in props, but not necessarily. All art has been sold to a person, no corporate buyers. When SIP tshirts were worn and products used as props on a British comedy last year, it was the props people who contacted me and I supplied them with merch and my blessing.
I like the idea of SIP blending in with contemporary culture.
