i had a wisdom tooth pulled today. my first tooth pulled ever. i think i was rather brave; i didn't cry, and i had the opportunity to just take some penicillin and leave, but i did the responsible thing and got it taken care of permanently. this is impressive because i'm a big needle wuss because i've been poked and prodded with them a lot of my life cuz i'm sickly, and especially impressive considering it was in my mouth, cuz when i was eleven, i had this big mole removed my chin and that was very trumatic and stuff... so yeah, everyone tell me what a good girl i am. :P

^_^ dude, it's so crazy... i've never been high before, cuz i never saw the point, and last night, i took some codeine (i'd taken it before, too) and i just... man. i felt goooooood, heh. not good enough to live up to the hype i've heard though, but it was still nice.

I used to have to get allergy shots every week when I was little. Sometimes I'd have psychosomatic reactions, and my arms would swell up even before the injections. I don't like needles.

I found out after I gave blood last year that not only do I have a universal blood type (O+), but my blood is free from a fairly common virus that shows up in most donations. This makes my blood useful for patients that have weak immune systems, pre-mature babies, chemo-patients and HIV infected persons. The last time I tried to give blood though, they had to stop the procedure because I started to pass out. I'd forgotten to eat breakfast that morning. Plus it kind of creeps me out when they take the blood, screen it for platelets and pump it back into me. :O

Injections into the mouth are freaky. So are injections into the eye 'cuz you have to keep it open while the doctor pokes you.

Try not to get hooked on the pain killers pooky.

i totally dig the needle in the mouth ya get
from the dentist. i dunno what it is, i just like it.

i used to donate plasma and blood (like weekly),
until a few years ago i was donating plasma and
the jackass inserting the needle DID IT WRONG...
the needle literally ripped outta my arm and
blood friggin gushed EVERYWHERE!!!
it has since scarred my arm and i haven't donated
because of it.

i'd say you were very cool about it.

my fear of being addicted to anything outweighs my desire to feel that way again, so i think i'm safe. :P *pretty much passes out everytime she has blood taken* my mom always makes sure to carry some candy or a soda or something so i can immediatly start imbibing sugar and speeding up my red blood cell production, heh. but yeah, the needle in my mouth wasn't that bad, they put topical on first, then i just closed my eyes and opened my mouth and didn't feel a thing.

shatzy - a guy i know got an itty bitty tiny piece of burning hot metal in his eye and had to have a needle in his eye to repair it. x_x

and yes, i have the tooth right here.

The dentist uses all the leftover teeth to construct little toothy monsters that will eat people. He plans to unleash them on our unsuspecting population very soon.
