OK just recieved this one.It appears to be in OK condition.Has some problems which sem to be electrical in nature. At 18 and 24 fps, when the trigger is depressed, there is a 9 second delay before it runs. There is a knob missing on the intervalometer (time lapse control) so I'm assuming this delay has something to do with this. Also the knob on the auto/manual iris is missing and it's difficult to set the iris.Any techies out there to offer help?

hmmm, when they described the condition of this camera during the auction, did they use the phrase "as is", or "as isn't", as in this camera "isn't" fully stocked with knobs and buttons.
I'm thinking the camera has a 10 second timer delay function so the cinematographer could get in the picture before the film started rolling.
Nine seconds is just too close to the 10 second delay setting that was common on a couple of cameras. The way to know for sure is if the camera waits 9-10 seconds to run, then runs for 10 seconds, then shuts off, it's probably set to the timer delay function.
Glad it works otherwise!

I would assume it would be related to the intervalometer dial.
