I have a film degree and it's perfectly useless. I should have taken the money and time and have 5 or 6 features under my belt. Not all of it was worthless, I did get some good info, but nothing I wouldn't have learned on the streets. They tout themselves with the proposal of making student films...but remember, not everyone gets to be director. Some guys have to pay full tuition and end up being a grip or script supervisor. Get a real degree and learn film on the street.

Let me second that notion...
And for the "real" degree, get something that'll make some $$.
