Mystery soved - thanks Camera Guy!

The web site claims the Nizo is being used to film Morrison's 'H W Y' film - i didn't realise the film was in Super8?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I retract my original guess. It is not a s480 or s560. I did some more detective work and have narrowed it down to these models. Its either a s36, s48-2, s55, s56, s80 or the "special". Can't narrow it more than that without more pictures, His hand covers the variable shutter area which would help elimate some of the above.

    Question

    Hi,

Yep, i don't recognise that side bit, the horizontal line on the casing ... camera/film meter?

    http://www.subcin.com/jimcam3.jpg

Morrison had a beard in HWY, so i don't think this is him filming it, as the web page claims?

there is a great deal of mystery surrounding this guy - nothing seems to add up

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">The horizontal line is the footage counter. Its the old style, the newer models have a circular counter thats closer to the bottom of the camera.

    Question

    hi cameraguy,

there is a Morrison yahoo group @ -

    http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group...yguid=98497270

and at the Photos page are many images of Morisson and his (also) late girlfriend Pamela, touring Paris with the Nizo - might any of these images help narrow down the search for the camera model, please?

I only see two pictures there of it and they don't help much. All the those Nizo models are so similar you'll probably have to find a pic that shows the actual model number on the camera to know exactly which it is
