Hopefully your camera is among the bunch (and I know that many GAF ST's can) that will properly expose 64T film. In that case you can use the new Ektachrome 64T stock that just came out.

Kodachrome 40 is my favorite color stock, and works in every Super-8 camera on the planet, but it has been discontinued.

If you can expose 100 daylight, you can shoot Plus-X in Black and White.

If you can expose 200ASA daylight, you can use Tri-X in Black and White

At least in the USA, Kodak is the best source for Super-8 film. I call an 800 number and the film is on the front steps the next day, still cheaper than if I'd picked it up at the few stores that carry it.

What are you doing about the meter battery? This one uses a mercury cell which is no longer available.

If you're handy with an external light meter, you can shoot whichever stock you like without even having a meter battery!
