This is more an info post than a question. I was very excited when widescreen-centre came up again with Svema (Quarzchrome) super8 cartridge, and better, with an amasing price. I am finishing my first short with it and I am also developing the cartridges myself. The results are amazing! If somebody else wants to try, I have exposed the film with the same settings as for a Kodachrome 40. The 1st and 2nd developing times that gave the best results were 5' and 6' respectively @ 23C. Another thing I would like to tell other enthusiasts is concerning Orwo films. I heard from dancan (www.dancan.dk) international that the german company will begin to produce s8 cartridges, regular 8 and DS8 film in about 2 months. This may be an alternative to Kodak (that is making life much harder after removing Kodachrome from the market). Thank yyou all for listening...
