    Question

    I just recently bought 2 8mm cameras, one is regular 8mm (Bolex P4), and the other is a Super 8mm (Bell and Howard..something like that, I am at school, and don't have them with me)

    i am not sure if either work, where can I go to have them checked out?

    I will post later with the exact models of the cameras..

    Look at this Web page -- http://members.aol.com/Super8mm/ServicesPage8.html -- for info on how to check out a "new" used camera.

    Unless the camera is terribly expensive and is also misbehaving, I wouldn't spend big bucks on paying someone to check it out. Only the costliest Super-8 cameras are worth paying to repair, IMHO. But your mileage may vary.
