Actually, there already is a Telecine movie on line at filmshooting; it does not have the sync sound but it was transferred using a TC-20. ftp://ftp.filmshooting.com/pub/films/
there are 3 versions of it. two are mpg and they play. They were made using two different encoders which are all in the titles.

well, I have the same old problem with my TC-20 set up : the picture jumps vertical. Not like flicker. Can the prism be "out off sync"? If it has moved a little bit. It seems like one of the 24 prism sides does not fit the film frames. Like, if I transfer 24fps, 23 frames are ok but one frame is 1 cm higher (on the monitor)...????
"You say the flicker can be reduced/eliminated by changing the angle and distance of the projector?"
Would this help? how to??
Konton help!

That should be easy to check. If the prism cover is removed, a tiny piece of tape could be stuck onto the flat side. Each face could be numbered. The offending face could be precisely identified, or found innocent.
