    Cool

O.k. so I shot some old super 8 sound film and I sent it to kmart through Qualex and it came back 21 days later. The charged me(American money) $8.31(tax included). So I opened it and the film was purple. So I projected it on my super 8 projector and the film looked good except for the purple part. So I asked around and they told me walmart developed for less and Sams for even less. Wow! Well I bought a krasnogorsk-3 Ukranian movie camera and thought about shooting kodachrome 40 16mm reversal film that Kodak sells for $31.00 for a 100 foot spool. My questions are have any of you shot this type of film on 16mm. Where can I get it developed? For how much? Or what kind of film should I use to make a feature?Negative? Reversas? Anything would help. Thanks!!!

Dwayne's will process it. Plus, you may even be able to find other labs. As for the purple. It is because it is old. Good Luck

K40 is tungsten film. if you shoot tungsten without a conversion filter it will ahve a blue hue. if it is indeed a purple, then it could be from age. i would suggest sending Kodachrome directly to Kodak.

What is a convesion filter? I mean the camera came with a filter and I turned in on and off to see if the filter worked? And yes it came out purple not blue which means it was not the filter.
