I think Safari on Windows is to enable droves of developers to create web apps that work with the iPhone (if it works in Safari, it will work on the iPhone .....)

i'll eat my hat, but who bar from the few are going to be buying iphones ?
If I can unlock an iPhone or get one sans the a service plan then I'm buying.
I'm not going to be camped out for one but I could see having one by the end of the year.
