2006 Hopes and Fears

Following on from last year,now this year and a bigger list.

1. Finish Mortus Illumina

2. Take the other half of Mortus illumina to cannes

3. Work on more than 20 films (this years total)

4. Work on more films that people will actually see (one out of that twenty i reckon will see the light of day, sorry 2 if you count space cadets)

5. be able to Pay my guys on time.

6. Expand the workshop and the business in general

7. Get some of my own projects moving again

8. Get to more festivals

9. Get driving licence so i can kidnap young lady
10. Kidnap young lady.

And even though its only the first day of the year, did you already complete task 9 & 10?

- Score a fantastic indie film/short
- Film one shortfilm (I doubt I?ll get around to do this one with my schedule)
- Get my website done

Hmmmm, must tread carefully knowing full well that this will prolly get dug up in 12 months time.

Hopes:

1. "Crooked Features" is watched and reviewed by more people.

2. I make a good start offering location sound recording service with my own kit.

3. My own sound recording kit works properly.

4. I get paid as a sound recordist and bother to join BECTU.

5. Get my next Feature project written.

Fears:

1. Forced to live as a reclusive billionare from "Crooked Features" success.

2. Generic Skinhead hits 999 posts and never returns.

3. Someone steals my sound kit.

4. Microsoft starts offering certificates for audio engineers.

5. The singularity engulfs reality before I finish my story about it.

Hopes.
1) Write a short.
2) Find a storyboardist to draw slides for music video.
3) Network to get short made. (anyone wanna help?)
4) Maybe try learn something about cinematography.
5) Break the ?30k a year barrier.

Fears
1) Get called up for Afghanistan/Iraq while I'm trying to write my Uni dissertation.

I want to start my own company, finish at least 5 decent short films by the end of the year, finish at least one comic, write at least one feature screenplay/story.
