I have no more relevant points, but I wanted to have the 60th post on this topic!

    Cheers

    Re: PC or I-MAC ?

I think it's only fair to mention, in the interests of full disclosure, that I switched to OS X in 2003. My first Mac was the 12" PowerBook and I edited my feature film "Crooked Features" on it, yes, that little 12" screen. Then I got the 15" PowerBook, but it was too big and clumsy so I got myself a Black MacBook. The kids have that one now and I have myself a sweet first generation unibody MacBook, upgraded with backlit keyboard.

I still say though, that anything before OS X Jaguar was just not worth using, and System 9 or whatever sucked donkeys compared to Windows 2000, in my humble estimation. Of course, Leopard is going to rock and I'm currently futzing about with new features in FCP7.

A lot has happened in the last few years, that's for sure.

I'm now cutting my latest feature 'The Fix' (shot in 5 days in October 2009) on a 24" iMac. #2wkfilm #2095

As per my view Imac is best. A bump to the front side bus and a smidge more L2 cache can safely be classified as a minor update. A accessory blueprint amend after-effects in some cogent achievement gains; graphics upgrade an option on this 24-inch model.
