Ha! Ha! (that laughter is for Miker) erm okay i would firstly decide a)why is he going around singing? b)how do people react to this and then the ending will corrospond otherwise it will have no justification and the audience will be annoyed that there was no through line. Not all films need this but this film sounds like its emotionally driven so it really does. Does this help?

How about he is actually the devil and the singing has just been a soul searching effort?

Here's a idea;
The guy tours different cities and has a daughter with a drug problem that he keeps in contact with over the phone. He left her and her mother ages back because of the need to play music. He needs to know his daughters ok because he still loves her of course but he can't fight the desire to play music. In the end his wife which he has'nt spoken to in a long while, finds him in a city that he's currently touring and walks in a bar which he's having a drink in. She sits down and tells him that their daughter has over-dosed.
Tell me what you think.
