    Question

Hi, I'm new to this board, and new to film making itself. However, i've noticed a lot of you talking about PC software for editing and for sound. Could someone please recommend the software that has the best value for money as i feel it's stuff i need to get to know about. Thanx for the help in advance.

P.S, I have looked at the your web site Chance, and Dadlights looks to be a great piece of film making. Was it your firs film?

Adobe Premier is great for editing videotape.
Cooledit Pro is a good sound editing package.

What is warez? Is it that pirate web-site I've heard of where you download for free?

Abode Premier with a Matrox RT-2000 card. It'll get you started.

if you are totally new to filmmaking you may want to try the iMovie software that is only available on the iMac DV (oops...how did a Mac guy sneak into the PC software arena). But it's simple, easy to use and great for beginners. BUT...if you already have a PC...go ahead and go for Premeire (which is also available on Mac)

    Re: PC software question.

Hello! It is better to use reliable free download sites even if you have an antivirus installed on your system. There are many dangerous sites with malicious ads, fake download links, etc. If I have a need to download software, I do it only here. There has never been such a thing that I did not find what I was looking for.

    Re: PC software question.

I am new to many things related to PC applications. And recently I was looking for information on What's the Best Spy Software for PC. I learned a lot of useful things for me as a beginner here. Now I am savvy in many matters and install various spy applications without any problems.
