where'd you pay $260 a roll? is there a massive import tax or something where you live?

The point anyway, is that 16mm film is not really viable for people starting out.
    <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">well, i completely disagree. but that's a different thread, i suppose.

hey!!!! how are you!!! you never go on the computer anymore!! the blue ***** thing went all wrong so i made this other movie to take my mind of it and have a little break. it was about the wife of an escape artist who is really sad because he dies doing one of his stunts and she's really sad and misses him so she locks herself in one of the boxes from his stunts so she can die. i was actually quite happy with it...it was made from stills and music which is probably copyrighted, it was just for fun... i'm gonna get back to blue ***** when i get back to uni, recast and start again..

Queen Frostine, have you seen Clerks? That's really a poor filmmaker's motivational movie. It was shot on 16mm BW film stock. Probably more inspirational than RR because the film doesn't involve gunfights.

yeah, i love clerks!! by the way is black and white films cheaper than colour??

i was also thinging that i could shoot half of my movie on DV and half on film because it's kind of two different stories. DV is good for making people believe stuff is real, it reminds then of home videos and TV and stuff. Then when i get into the fantasy side of the story i could shoot film and so save money...??? maybe...
