Hi, does anyone have a reasonably priced camera w/ and intervalometer that they'd like to sell me? I already have several cameras, so an external intervalometer would be great also. I just want to do some time lapse work. thanks

Hello yes timelapse is great. I don't have anything to sell you cause I want to keep my setup, but I may be able to help. If you have a canon super8 camera with single frame function then you can build your own intervalometer. Can you get electronic components? I used a 555timer, relay and variable resistor. If your willing to try building your own and have spare time I can give you more details about it.
With the canon it's just a matter of making contact between two wires to take a single frame. You could also use an analog clock with points of contact on the second hand to make the click at whatever intervel you desire up to once a minute.
Let me know your thoughts on the subject, bye
