Haunted House

On the main site, the tagline for "10 Colwyn Road" reads:

If you thought Amityville was scary, we dare you to enter...


The other day someone pointed out that Amityville was rather crap and not at all scary.

Which I concurred, but in my defence it was the only haunted house I could think of by name.


Can anyone come up with some better suggestions?

The only scary house I can think of is this one we used to go in on our way home from the nightclub. It was derelict and had no floor in the kitchen, but 4 fridges!!

Oh and there was this alcove upstairs that you couldn't tell the depth of because of the shadow. You had to put your hand into it and hope you touch wall and not rotting flesh.

Now that was scary!!!

Amityville bored the tears outa me. Was going to watch it again to get the name right, but The Legend Of Hell House, UK, early 70's, scared the bejesus outa me years ago! Was it called "The Balasco Mansion"? A bit too movie-trivia oriented though... Wouldn't work as a tagline; nobody would know where the reference came from, except other ghost flick viewers..
