Hey there...

My names Chris, I'm a young short film maker from Essex...and i DESPERATELY am looking for an actor to star in a short film i'm making.

The person needs to be male and aged between 15 - 18.
It would help if they lived near by.

We need some one who's a great actor and is looking to have GREAT fun and be part in a masterpiece of a movie.

I'm directing, i'm 18, done 2 short movies and won awards for both...
so...any one interested, it'd be cool if you could let me know...

Hi Chris,


First off is the obvious question: if you've made shorts already, can't you use one of your actors from these?


If you're looking for a professional actor, try the spotlight directory (http://www.spotlightcd.com/) - a lot of actors will work for free (or expenses) in return for actually working, since they spend most of their time "resting".

Being in Essex, you have the advantage of being close to thousands of actors, unlike us Northerners.


If an amateur will do, I suggest trawling the local amdrams groups or putting up notices in your home town. Or visiting local colleges, since you want someone aged 15-18.
