Does that mean good or bad?
Not really, just wanted to re-light the candle of conversataion in this forum...
Anyone seen the trailer for Batman Begins, looks the shit!
Does that mean good or bad?
Sorry, should've said; 'da shit', as in good.
Philip, you must fancy seeing Episode III! I know you hate Star Wars, but the trailer must tickle ya fancy ever so slightly?
The trailer does nothing for me.
I am slightly - ever so slightly - interested in seeing Anakin become Darth Vader, but not enough to shell out any more money to Mucusfilm just to come out feeling disappointed. Especially since that plank Christiansen has been charged with doing justice with one of the most pivotal characters in movie history. He's just a bad, bad actor.
I'll wait for the DVD and get it from one of my rental houses so it won't cost me any more money.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Actually, I'd disagree. He's in a film called 'Shattered Glass', I think if you watched that you'd be surprised.Especially since that plank Christiansen has been charged with doing justice with one of the most pivotal characters in movie history. He's just a bad, bad actor.
I just think that the actors in the new Star Wars movies have such a poor script (in terms of dialogue, character interaction etc.), such weak direction (Lucas is a producer through and through) as well as always working on a greenscreen set so that there isn't a real environment to interact with, that all of the actors in the films look terrible.
Ewan McGregor is considered a good actor, does he shine in the films?
Natalie Portman is a very good actor, again, she's not great in any of the SW films.
Same for Sam L. Jackson, Christopher Lee etc.
By the way, I heard a great little story that Christiansen told about Lucas recently. After a take, Lucas decided that he didn't like the line he's written and wanted to change it. So Christiansen said, ok, let's go again-
Lucas said, don't worry about it- I'll fix it in post. Sure enough, after post-production, the line has been changed- Lucas had CGI'd Christiansen's lips and computer generated his voice to say the improved amended line.

I've seen Shattered Glass. And other films with him in.
I stand by my comments.
Well, it is a shame that Prowse was unavailable.
it will be brilliant
