i bought it today. its beautiful. im impressed cos i thought it could only go down hill after white pony, but quite the opposite i think. anniversary of an uninteresting event is possibly the most beautiful thing ive heard in weeks. deftones-always a poignant band

Its a good un....much better than i expected

Such simple music made so well....nice and layered

I sometimes think other bands should take a leaf out of the Deftones book of songwriting and keep things simple and catchy

Deftones depress the shit outta me.. they've got a couple of songs I like, other than that I really think they are poo... very depressing, whiney nu metal type band.. thats just my opinion anyway

caught the deftones in manchester last week. the pit was immense....got punched and kicked and everything....it was amazing fun. point to make-i dont find deftones depressing, simply because the emotions theyre talking about etc are familiar to me, so i dont feel depressed, i feel recognition and therefore a close affinity to the music. if music doesnt get a little deep sometimes then we would be left with nothing but rick astley and good charlotte to listen to. or ska punk. in conclusion, deftones good, nuclear power bad.
