has anyone else noticed that all the original hostboarders have kind of disapeared and have been replaced by new and inferior models? i.e kurts ghost, blitskreig bomber, spasticated barbie core. this isnt an insult, just something iver...

Bauhaus, Joy Division, Cure... proper goth bands. Can throw in Sisters of Mercy, London After Midnight, Rosetta Stone, Fields of the Nephilim, etc, in with them.

Didn't think anyone had heard of those bands anymore.

I don't want to come across as an even bigger arsehole than I already seem 'cos i'm not half bad, BUT a.a.m.o.f...bjork and moby are bands and just because their names are used to represent them, doesn't mean they're soloists. Check the credits in either of the two's album sleeves if you want proof.

new kid. you made good points, you clearly have good taste BUT i feel you slipped up on a couple of points.
1) do NOT repeat NOT repeat NOT repeat NOT put the strokes in the same league as c.o.f. and b182. both those bands rock but have their tongues in their cheeks. The strokes do not. They are important and VEE talented.
2) do suggest your band are on a par with the cure, smiths etc. etc.
3) indie means on ann independant label. i.e. not a major, owned by major whatever.
4) ROCK
