i remember it from back in the day.
------------------
From the core of my being comes this promise to myself
that I won't break my honor before all.
A one-way mission through life, I won't change my course.
There's far too much to experience and accomplish to waste a precious
second drunk or hazed. An effective revolutionairy through
the clarity of mind that I've attained. I see it all for what it
is as Gommorah's Season Ends in the grave.
So many have become demoralized that now a change must be forced or all will
perish in the lunacy once it befalls.
Parasites gnaw at the basis, their vulgar ways bring pointless ends.
Perpetuating the degeneration.
In this self is all I need with this oath that keeps me free.
To this I am forever true. I am straight edge.

Errrmmmm, i rememeber all the CRAP new Years Nights in their...never again

One thing that is ace is that i rarely have to go in there anymore.
One question, why are some of the older guys in there SOOOOO sleazy. Not all of em, just some. And most lasses fall for it!

mine would be about 98 or 99 going in there with crodders, convinced they wouldn't serve me (which OF COURSE they did...it's something with rock related pubs nation-wide i've noticed..they always serve kids!). so anyway...i sat, drank my drink...and quite liked the look of the place. I was never in regular attendance on the inside of it tho cos i never had enough money to get pissed in there and had to stay outside with cider! besides...i decided i liked being stoned more anyway somewhere along the line and hardly ever went there anymore after..then moved..and that was that!

i went in in 1997/8 in year 9 for the first time for literally 5 minutes, realised how stupid i must have looked amongst kids trying to look old.
i'm 57% more alternative than the barge.

Wit you look like a fuckin criminal.
fuckin I remember I was 14 the first time I stepped foot in the barge so I guess that was about 98/99(probably 99). I was at a gig at Cartergate and it was shit so we marched down to the barge. But I was scared cos Ritchie from Green acre was there and I thought he might tell my dad or mam that he saw me in there and that they'd be dead mad with me for not staying at the gig. DEAD FUNNY!
