win mx; www.winmx.com
Kazaa; www.kazaa.com
morpheus; www.musiccity.com
I prefer Win MX, but sometimes it's a bit un-reliable, so I use kazaa as back-up.

Maybe if most of the fucking leeches who only download music went out and bought some fucking cd's the record industry wouldn't be going to these lengths to fuck audiogalaxy over.

A good example of how mp3's don't kill the record industry: The Eminem Show is put onto most mp3 swapping sites way before its actually released. When it is released it sells over a million copies.

That's actually a heap of bullshit. His record company actually brought forward the release date of his album due to it being bootlegged to fuck from file sharing programmes and selling on the black market. And Eminem selling a million copies of his album isn't really that big an acheivment.
I'm not anti-file sharing at all, i just don't like anyone who abuses the system to the extent people have with Napster, Audiogalaxy etc

Oh i forgot to add that this was in the first week alone. It is true that Interscope brought the release date forward but it was only brought forward a week or so. Not so long ago the industry was saying that recording tapes would kill it off... My how they were wrong.

Yeah, i know only in the first week, but i think compared to sales of his previous albums, sales are significantly down.
But really, Eminem isn't who gets hurt by filesharing, it's smaller acts who, if they don't sell x number of units, will get dropped.
Just take into account that you're getting something for nothing, so when you download something and like what you hear, instead of burning it onto a cd-r, go out and make an effort and buy the record.
