i think that is totally wrong.....
people be it coz THEY want to be it. not because OTHER people this its cool if they do it.

if it was fashionable, then surely the MAJORITY of the kids in the "scene" or whatever would be straight edge , and not the MINORITY of it !?!?

Straight edge is boring, this arguement about edgers is boring, it's a tired subject. It's all down to personal opinion, theres no right wrong answer.
my opinion is it is just a pretentious outlet for people who dont really like getting wasted, fair enough, no different from pretentious indy/art rock kids who make out there twice as intelligent as everyone else.
I get wasted and i like to party, to me it's fun, to others its moronic. So fuck, its not like its a battle for a place in gods good books
